WELCOME TO GIOCOSO STRING PROGRAM

The Giocoso String Program specializes in teaching violin and viola to students 4 years old through High School. For the youngest Violin/Viola Students, we use the Suzuki Method.

We teach our students using the best Classical and Folk Music available in the Happiest Environment holding to the Highest Musical Standards. For our older students (9 years old through High School), we supplement with Scales, Etudes, Theory Exercises and Sight reading.

The Suzuki Method was founded in 1947 by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki of Matsumoto, Japan. It is also called the "Mother Tongue Method" or Talent Education because it is based on the simple principal that all children can learn to speak their native language at a very high level.

The Goal of the Giocoso String Program is Dr. Suzuki's goal for all children everywhere in the world "to develop loving, sensitive, well rounded human beings, with beautiful hearts through the study & performance of music."
