Welcome to the spirit of summer, welcome to Camp Chipinaw. It is our hope that you will enjoy exploring our website as you learn all about our summer home. Chipinaw was built specifically as a summer camp for boys in 1926, and 12 years later the girls campus was added. Since that time, Chipinaw has become one of the finest traditional camps in the United States. Your experience at Chipinaw will be a perfect blend of Chipinaw's rich history and traditions along with all the latest and greatest facilities and activities that one would expect from a superior summer camp. We welcome boys and girls age 7 through 16 to join us for a summer of Fun, Friends, Sports, Arts and Adventure.

   Chipinaw is truly unique as we have two premier overnight summer camps virtually on one property. Chipinaw and Silver Lake are neighboring camps located deep in the heart of New York's beautiful Catskill Mountains. We give our campers the opportunity to stay for the full summer at Chipinaw, or to enjoy all the Chipinaw fun in half the time at Silver Lake. Our camps are situated on over 300 acres, including the magnificent 96-acre Silver Lake. As you navigate through our summer website we hope you find that Chipinaw and Silver Lake are more than just neighbors. We are a family!
