Dr. Dong obtained her PhD in mathematics from Binghamton University. She has been teaching mathematics and statistics for over ten years. She enjoys teaching math because students can discover and understand how math is around us from engineering to nature. When she teaches math, she provides the students with a variety of knowledge, help them achieve their goals and make sure every student reach their full potential. She received very positing feedback from her students: “Dr.Dong is great, always answers question in a timely manner, and cultivates a welcoming environment in the classroom.” “ I'm going to be a math teacher, and I love the way you taught, it was super effective for me, and made managing my course load super easy.:)” “I think she did an amazing job explaining in detail concepts in problems. I am very bad at math but she explained everything so well and did example problems that were very useful in helping the class understand how to do any kind of problem we would encounter.” When she does not teach, she likes to spend time with her children teaching them math and visiting historical places.
