Course Decription:
The Singapore math method is a highly effective teaching approach originally developed by Singapore’s Ministry of Education for Singapore public schools. The method has been widely adopted in various forms around the world over the past twenty years. The textbook we use in this class uses the Singapore curriculum design essence and preserve the techniques, sequencing, and rigor that define Singapore math. All of Singapore math books were reengineered to meet the requirement of American math curriculum.
This course designed to equip students with a strong foundation in mathematics and critical thinking skills, it offers an integrated solution to different learning needs in the class for Grades 3. This course provides both additional problem-solving practice and a new level of challenge. Each unit includes worked examples, mixed review practice problems, and challenging problems (with additional worked examples). Both answers and worked solutions are provided.
