  • The New York Times’ writing contests for high school and middle school students are highly influential in the United States and the world
  • The class is focused on teaching the skills of contest article writing, introducing the characteristics of the contest article, the problems that need to be paid attention to when participating in the contest, and the corresponding methods
  • Under the guidance of the teacher, students choose appropriate articles, analyze and discuss the articles
  • Through brainstorming, determine the angle and logic of your own writing, and sort out your own views and expressions
  • Students use their existing writing skills and skills learned in class to conceive and create their own works
  • The first draft of the students will be further revised and improved under the teacher’s comments and guidance, and the students’ peer review
  • Submit once a week to New York Times Writing Contest
  • Both high school and junior high school students can participate
  • We encourage you to register both sessions
