Alpha STEM Coding Club

"2025~2026 American Computer Science League Contest"

ACSL (American Computer Science League) is an international computer science competition among Thousands of school teams from USA, Canada, Europe, Africa & Asia. Alpha STEM coding club will help young coders (beginner to Advanced) get familiar, master the concept, and get ready for the competitions. Top contesters will be invited to All-STAR team round for National.

ACSL Team ​美国计算机科学联盟队

什么是ACSL？

ACSL全称American Computer Science League美国计算机科学联盟 (ACSL) ，其为 K-12 学校和团体组织计算机编程和计算机科学竞赛。 2022-2023 学年是ACSL连续运营的第 45 个年头！去年，美国、加拿大、欧洲和亚洲的 700 多支队伍参加了比赛。

ACSL 提供多个等级，为不同年龄和能力的学生提供适当的挑战。参加每场比赛的学生人数不限。

每个赛季分为四场比赛，测试学生计算机科学的基本概念，从Number Systems到Boolean Algebra再到Digital Electronics。在高等组别中，每场比赛还包括一个使用 Python、C++ 或 Java 编程解决的问题。

比赛以在线形式进行，在年底，优秀的学生将被邀请参加全美在线总决赛。

ACSL 分为五个等级：Senior, Intermediate, Junior, Classroom, and Elementary，为不同年龄和能力的学生提供适当的挑战。各个部门的竞赛主题相似，但在详细程度和难度方面有所不同。在一个等级内，一所学校组成一个或多个Team。每个Team最多可有 12 名学生。一名学生只能作为一个Team的成员参加, 不能同时参加多个Team。

以下是五个等级的介绍：

Senior Division：最适合有编程经验的高中生，尤其是那些修读 AP 计算机科学的高中生。每场比赛包括一个 30 分钟的 5 道简答题和一个 72 小时内解决的在线编程问题。

Intermediate Division: 最适合编程经验很少或没有编程经验的高中生和高级初中生。每场比赛包括一个30 分钟的 5 题简答题和一个 72 小时内解决的在线编程问题。

Junior Division: 最适合正在学习编程或有编码经验的6~9年级学生。 9 年级以上的学生不得参加Junior组比赛。每场比赛包括一个 30 分钟的 5 题简答题和一个 72 小时内解决的在线编程问题。

Classroom Division: 向所有年级的学生开放。非常适合参加 AP 计算机科学原理和其他没有编程的计算机科学课程的学生。每场比赛都包括一个在线的 50 分钟、10 个问题的简短回答测试。此等级没有编程问题。

Elementary Division: 3 - 6 年级的学生可参加。每场比赛都包含一个 30 分钟的 5 题非编程测。每场比赛将测试不同的类别，此等级没有编程问题。

Yes, Alpha STEM offer training courses.

Elementary Division online training courses scheduled on different dates, from Nov ~May. 

We also offer intensive before-contest training workshops for Junior Division & Senior Division (both in person and online) .

2. 有考试吗？

各个级别都有四次考试，每个月一次，考试的形式是在线，在HackerRank上进行。

3. 今年的考试是什么时候？

常规赛期间有四场比赛。可以在 HackerRank 上访问每个比赛的窗口如下。

每位参加的学生每个赛季只能选择一个等级，作为一个Team的成员参加, 不能同时参加多个Team。

6. 报名后可以修改吗？

注册时需要指明每位学生的考试等级，登记之后当个赛季不可以修改等级。
