Magic Summer Camp is Coming to Flemington!
Our curriculum cultivates discipline, empathy, and imagination in youngsters. Kids learn to see things from other people's perspectives, anticipate reactions, and choose their words with intention. They'll develop situational and self-awareness, become more thoughtful, and demonstrate courtesy more. Not only that, they'll make friends, develop a sense of belonging, and experience and spread happiness.
Kid Wizard Club is a licensed provider of Discover Magic, the premier magic program in the world. Known as “Life Skills Courses Cleverly Camouflaged as Magic Classes”, they leverage a child’s inherent fascination with magic as a transformational vehicle for personal growth.
Hidden in these fun and interactive classes are simple and powerful life changing lessons. Through the act of performing magic with others, your child will develop priceless communication and people skills - not to mention creativity, spatial skills, sequential thinking, empathy, preparedness, and the power of giving - magic’s most intrinsic value…without even realizing it.
A Typical Day
- "Whaddya See?" - We begin our days with a quick creative exercise where campers call out the different things they see in a simple illustration.
- Game Time 1 - Campers play a unique game that varies every time.
- Review Time - We ask how the previous day's performances went for the tricks they learned. A few campers then perform the prior day's feature trick, and advice is given from the group and the instructors on how to improve.
- Feature Trick - The instuctor performs that day's feature trick.
- Break Time - Snacks eaten if desired.
- Video Time - We have different proprietary videos that illustrate one of the "8 Traits of a True Magician"...like Respect, Preparation, Enthusiasm, and Giving. That day's tricks illustrate and strengthen a lesson about that days "Trait".
- Lesson One - The instructor teaches the Feature Trick, and props are then handed out. The campers then follow the instructor step-by-step, before performing for each other in a "Power Practice" session.
- Performance Time - Two or three campers are then asked to perform the trick in front of the whole camp.
- Break Time - Snacks eaten if desired.
- Physical Challenge - Campers are taught a different physical challenge every day, and a reward is given for accomplishment. Challenges include balancing peacock feathers on hands, head, and feet; snatching quarters off their elbows; simple juggling, etc.
- Game Time 2 - Campers play another unique game.
- Trick #2 - Another trick is taught with provided props, typically everyday objects from around the house. This is so campers can entertain people anywhere, in case they don't have their Feature Tricks with them. Campers brainstorm thier own presentations for these tricks, practice, and several perform for the group as well.
- Break Time 3 - Snacks eaten if desired.
- Free Time - Campers can perform for each other, or play with their friends as they wish to finish the day (15 minute max).

If a minimum of 8 students isn't achieved, all money will be returned on what would have been the first day of camp.
If at any time a camper wishes to withdraw, a prorated amount will be refunded based on total amount paid divided by the percentage of days attended.

Kdi Wizard Club provides "Life Sills Lessons Cleverly Camouflaged as Magic Classes". We offer 4 different 8 week "Wand" courses teaching magic to 8-12 year olds. Fascinating fun that enriches and inspires!
Mission & Philosophy
We believe every child has Magic in them, and it's our passion to help develop it every way we can. Magic is a tremendous tool for doing this, as it inherently enhances social engagement, speaking ability, empathy, creativity, lateral thinking, hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. This is all done while instilling the confidence your child will experience as a result of their bringing joy and wonder to others.
Meet Our Director
Will Fern has been empowering kids with magic for 25 years. He is an international champion magician, and is a veteran of thousands of corporate and private events, 6 star cruise lines, and magic venues - including the world renowned Magic Castle in Hollywood. He and his wife Vania live in Flemington, NJ.
Our Staff
Vania Fern is a teacher of children with special needs and is an ESL expert, and loves teaching kids magic alongside her husband.

History
Kid Wizard Club is a proud licensee of Discover Magic, an internationally recognized arts enrichment curriculum with over 100 presenters in 5 countries. Discover Magic was created in 2015 by a team of magicians headed by World Champion Michael Ammar, alongside child psychologists and educators, to leverage the inherent fascination a child has for learning magic to expand life skills in every child they reach.
Other
Each student recieves a large box of 100% custom made magic tricks, along with other unique learning materials designed just for 8-12 year olds. Students also have access to an online "Video Vault" where all "Top Secret" magic trick lessons are accessible. Each class showcases a unique life skill (like Respect, Enthusiasm, Creativity, or Giving, etc) via a custom video highlighting that life skill in action, and reinforces its development by infusing it into that week's tricks, with a class discussion of its application to magic and life beyond.
