My name is David. I am a dedicated full-time educator (specializing in math, physics, chemistry, and the SATs/ACTs) who loves tutoring in 1-on-1 settings and in the classroom with students.

I offer a variety of tutoring and educational services for my students and have been tutoring with great success for over 8 years. I have changed the lives of over 800 students in my extensive years of teaching. 

I graduated in 2014 from Rice University in Houston with a Bachelor's in Biology. Despite my major, I have a passion and deep understanding of all STEM subjects. I teach all levels of math with high proficiency, including elementary, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, and BC. Some of the other classes that I teach as well include college-level Physics, Chemistry, Biology. I have also taught upper and lower-level ISEE, Kangaroo Math, AMC, SSAT, the ACT, the SAT, and other college entrance exams (DAT/MCAT/OAT). I scored 2260 out of 2400 overall on my SAT (in 2009) with a perfect score (800) on the Math section, and I graduated from Rice University with a 3.31 overall GPA.

Refund for Lesson Packages

You may cancel a lesson package with at least 24 hours' written notice before the next lesson. Completed lessons will be billed at the standard hourly rate, and the remaining balance will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee. The fee is waived if you keep the balance as credit on your TimeAfterSchool account for other lessons.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• Standard Policy: Provide at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time to cancel or reschedule a lesson free of charge. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full lesson fee.
• Grace Period for Packages: For each packages of 10 or more lessons, you are allowed one late cancellation or rescheduling (with less than 24 hours' notice) without penalty to accommodate unexpected situations. Any additional late cancellations or changes beyond this one-time exception will be charged in full.

Adult Supervision

All tutoring sessions for students under 18 years old must be supervised by a responsible adult.
