The Writing Studio has been in operation since 2010. We have a proven record of success. We help students develop writing fluency, confidence , and competence. Students have come to love writing, and as a result, they have excelled in their English/Language Arts (ELA) Classes, as well as ELA exams.
City Kidz World Writing Studio loves helping children develop a relationship with writing! Our commitment to that idea has lead us to sponsor a tri-yearly children's literary magazine: City Kidz World magazine.
Our program uses a variety of methods to help students become accomplished writers. Students come to the Writing Studio at least once a week to work with accomplished, language arts tutors. They complete various types of language arts and writing assignments over the weeks, months or years. All children who join our program have a transformative experience.
1st - 6th - Vocabulary, grammar & punctuation, writing, reading
7th - 8th - advanced reading, comprehension/grammar & high school prep.
High School - college prep, SAT, ACT, high school curriculum support
Teachers hold the following various qualifications:

Current Classroom teachers: Language Arts, Reading
College English Instructors
Bachelor's Degrees in English, Communications, Journalism
Master's Degrees in reading, writing, special education
Doctorates in Education, Writing, Communications

The mission of the City Kidz World literary magazine and Creative Writing Studio (CKW Studio) is to help students develop a love of reading, writing, and vocabulary, using multiple methods of language arts enrichment and tutoring.
