The Reading and Spelling Curriculum
I utilize the Susan Barton Reading and Spelling System, a rigorously researched program rooted in the Orton-Gillingham approach. This scientifically validated program has consistently demonstrated its effectiveness in significantly enhancing the reading, spelling, and writing skills of children, teenagers, and adults who either exhibit or may have Dyslexia or other learning disorders. Through my experience, I have witnessed remarkable transformations in individuals who have received instruction in the Barton System, as they evolve into proficient readers, spellers, and vastly improved writers. The Barton program has proven instrumental in guiding young children and adolescents from struggling readers to achieving grade-level proficiency or even surpassing it, while also enabling adults to attain excellence in reading and becoming proficient spellers.
Rae Anna
I am passionate about assisting individuals in improving their reading and spelling abilities. I have successfully worked with both children and adults who face challenges like Dyslexia and other reading disorders. Many of them initially struggled to read even a single word, but through dedicated efforts, I have helped them become proficient readers who can also comprehend what they read. Additionally, I have supported children who have fallen behind in their reading skills, providing them with the extra assistance they need to catch up and thrive.
