Alex K
I have over ten years of English and history teaching experience, with time spent as a classroom teacher, a one-on-one tutor, and a small group tutor. In addition to my past work, my qualifications include a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California, my CBEST license, and an A-rated TEFL certification.
I offer one-on-one classes and tutoring for students of all ages and skill levels. As a teacher, my goals are to increase students’ confidence in their abilities, aid them in succeeding academically, and give them the tools to navigate the world as thoughtful and informed individuals.
Courses are tailored to each student. I leave time in the schedule for clients to talk with me after each lesson if they wish. Students' parents are always welcome to observe lessons, and they will receive an access link to the shared online document for each lesson.
I have experience teaching both EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students as well as students with different learning needs; I enthusiastically welcome all learners.
