The John Locke Essay Contest holds writing competitions on a variety of topics every year, attracting students from all over the world. During the participation and writing process of the writing contest, students can learn a lot of knowledge and methods that cannot be learned in school classes, or that are very limited.

KEC's John Locke writing Contest workshop will systematically teach the knowledge, structure and methods of historical and political essay competitions and essay writing, introduce the basic status quo, methods and styles of historical research, help students expand their ideas, and learn to collect and identify references. Methods and techniques of using materials, cultivating one's logical and critical thinking skills, exercising analytical and comprehensive research abilities, and improving article organization and expression skills.

In this course, students determine their own historical topics based on their own preferences through brainstorming and discussions with teachers. Under the guidance of teachers, students learn to collect, organize, analyze, and research relevant historical materials in a clear and convincing way. Write your own point of view, put forward your own opinions, analysis, comments, etc.
