Jemimah is a high school student and a passionate violinist with 8 years of performance experience. She has competed in multiple competitions, earning high praise from coaches, teachers, and conductors.
Jemimah started learning violin when she was 6 years old. She vividly remembers going through the Suzuki books, one piece at a time. Her teacher was always patient, gently correcting her playing whenever there was a mistake and cheering her on when she played correctly. Thanks to her positive violin learning experience, she still loves playing and continues to work on her skills slowly and steadily.
However, she has seen many of her peers fail to do this, resorting to anger and frustration when they can't play a passage the right way. In becoming a practicing coach for others who have an interest in the violin, she can help prevent this from happening and ensure that their learning experience is positive and something they will look back on with fondness, just like she does.
She is a hard-working and patient violinist, a strength that is needed when teaching beginners.
