Bonjour! I’m a native French speaker and an experienced tutor with over 13 years of teaching French privately. In addition to French, I also provide guidance in English grammar and effective study techniques to help you succeed.

My approach is tailored to your unique goals and needs, ensuring that each lesson is personalized and effective. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, I’ll guide you on your French journey with patience and expertise.

• For high school students: If you’re studying French in school, I’ll work with your existing materials and supplement them with additional resources to fill any gaps and strengthen your understanding.
• For beginners: If you’re starting from scratch, I follow a structured curriculum that includes a specific textbook (available for purchase online) to build a solid foundation.
• For travelers: Planning a trip to France? I offer a practical program focused on essential phrases and cultural tips to help you navigate and enjoy your stay with confidence.
• For advanced learners: If you’re already fluent and want to maintain or refine your skills, I provide engaging conversation sessions on topics of your choice to keep your French sharp and natural.

My teaching style is adaptable and student-centered. Whether in one-on-one sessions or small group classes, my priority is ensuring you speak and write French correctly. In individual lessons, you’ll do most of the talking, with me guiding and correcting you as needed. In group settings, I make sure everyone participates equally and benefits from the session.

I also specialize in preparing students for French exams such as AP French, International Baccalaureate, and DELF. To make learning enjoyable and immersive, I incorporate French songs, culture, and literature into my lessons.

Homework is an integral part of my teaching process—I assign it regularly and provide detailed feedback. Teaching is my passion, and nothing brings me more joy than hearing my students speak French with confidence!

Refund for Lesson Packages

You may cancel a lesson package with at least 24 hours' written notice before the next lesson. Completed lessons will be billed at the standard hourly rate, and the remaining balance will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee. The fee is waived if you keep the balance as credit on your TimeAfterSchool account for other lessons.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• Standard Policy: Provide at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time to cancel or reschedule a lesson free of charge. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full lesson fee.
• Grace Period for Packages: For each packages of 10 or more lessons, you are allowed one late cancellation or rescheduling (with less than 24 hours' notice) without penalty to accommodate unexpected situations. Any additional late cancellations or changes beyond this one-time exception will be charged in full.

Adult Supervision

All tutoring sessions for students under 18 years old must be supervised by a responsible adult.
