Ronald has worked in the field of education for nearly thirty years. Over the course of his career, he has taught at the high school and college levels. In addition to his classroom experience, he has served as a writing consultant in the business sector.
He is known for being patient, respectful, and student-centered in his approach. More importantly, he is deeply committed to fostering a genuine passion for learning in his students. He believes that when students develop this passion, they gain the ability to “teach themselves”—which he considers the ultimate goal of education.
As the saying goes, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”
Mr. Schaffer is qualified to teach a wide range of subjects, including reading comprehension, English composition, literature, creative writing, history, and social studies. His expertise lies primarily in the humanities. He looks forward to the opportunity to work with you.
