Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am from Los Angeles, California. I have a bachelor’s degree in Education and over 15 years of teaching experience. I have taught in prestigious international schools around the world, including in Thailand, Mexico, Taiwan, and Japan.
I also have over four years of experience teaching children online at all levels, whether it is grammar, ESL conversation, or preparing students for exams such as the SATs. I tailor-make my lessons according to each student’s educational goals and learning needs. My classes are student-centered, goal-oriented, upbeat, and fun. I want my students to leave each class feeling confident and excited for the next lesson.
I teach a dynamic range of subjects. My favorite subject to teach is Language Arts because it provides a structured and immersive approach to mastering reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. I also enjoy teaching grammar, test preparation, ESL conversation courses, and science.
I am patient, empathetic, and goal-oriented, and I truly enjoy watching the success and progress of my students. I speak fluent Spanish and intermediate Thai, which helps me better understand the challenges students face when learning in a non-native language.

Refund for Lesson Packages
You may cancel a lesson package with at least 24 hours' written notice before the next lesson. Completed lessons will be billed at the standard hourly rate, and the remaining balance will be refunded minus a 5% processing fee. The fee is waived if you keep the balance as credit on your TimeAfterSchool account for other lessons.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Standard Policy: Provide at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time to cancel or reschedule a lesson free of charge. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full lesson fee.
Adult Supervision
All tutoring sessions for students under 18 years old must be supervised by a responsible adult.
