Liberty Lake Day Camp is located in Bordentown, NJ, on 60 beautifully wooded acres, with a sparkling 6-acre lake as its centerpiece. We are located just minutes away from Rt. 295 (exit 52A), Rt. 130 (Florence Columbus Rd), Rt. 206 (Columbus Market) and Rt. 537. Conveniently accessible from most everywhere, Liberty Lake families hail from Burlington, Mercer, Camden, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey, as well as Bucks and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania. Liberty Lake has earned the reputation as the Premier Children's Summer Camp in Southern/Central New Jersey!

Liberty Lake Day Camp is a special place for children ages 4 to 15 to develop as individuals, expand their talents and make new friends. Our mission is to Make a Positive Impact on the Lives of Children. Liberty Lake’s safe, supportive and nurturing setting is the ideal developmental environment for children. With our dynamic staff, “Freedom of Choice” elective program and amazing Special Events, we strive to make EVERY DAY a GREAT DAY at Liberty Lake!

In addition to free swim, instructional swim and traditional camp activities, at Liberty Lake, campers have the freedom to create their own customized schedules on a weekly basis. Our elective program consists of over 60 athletic, creative, adventure and waterfront activities, all of which are led by highly skilled Specialists and Group Leaders. The number of electives periods range from 3-5 periods daily based on camper age.

Our 10-Week Camp Season, running from mid-June to mid-August, is flexible and accommodates the needs of our camp families. Families can choose to send their children to Liberty Lake for 2 weeks, 10 weeks, or anywhere in between!

Transportation is provided through our professional bus company. The bus ride to and from Camp is safe, efficient and fun! Extended Care is available from 7 AM to 6 PM and requires parent transportation. Bus transportation or Extended-care is included in our tuition. Families who choose to drop-off and/or pick up their child are eligible for further discounts.

Lunch & Snacks are professionally catered and delicious! Our lunch menu consists of a daily entrée such as chicken fingers, pizza and even pork roll egg and cheese! In addition, our pasta bar, salad bar and freshly made deli sandwiches are always available as well as tasty and healthy desserts. We also have morning bagels, fruit throughout the day and ices/ice cream at the end of the day!

Camp Director

Andy Pritikin (Owner, Director, Founder) Andy has served as the American Camp Association NY/NJ  President, Professional Development Oversight Chair, and the Chairman of the Tri-State Camp Conference- the largest annual gathering of Camp professionals in the world. For over 20 years, Andy has been serving on ACA national and regional committees, presenting at conferences across the world, and appearing on national TV, in print media, on the internet and podcasts (including his own “day camp podcast”) as a spokesman and leader of the summer camp industry. At the local level, Andy is founder and past president of the New Jersey Camps Government Affairs Project, an organization created to protect the interests of all New Jersey Camps, and an active member of his local Chamber of Commerces. Andy is also the co-founder and Producer of the NJ Renaissance Faire, the largest festival of its kind in New Jersey.

Prior to starting Liberty Lake Day Camp, Andy was fortunate to work for 10 years with two of the most successful camp organizations in the country, learning from industry legends. A proud supporter of Project Morry and SCOPE, two non-profit organizations which raise money to send inner-city youths to Camp each summer, Andy co-created the Liberty Lake Foundation to support local area children. Andy has been honored with numerous national and regional awards by both the camp industry and business community, including being the 2013 NJ Leukemia & Lymphoma Society “Man of the Year,” and the 2017 Burlington County “Voice of Business.” Andy has helped create four different camps, including Everwood Day Camp in Massachusetts, which has become the “Liberty Lake” of the greater Boston suburbs. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business and a Masters in Education, Andy began his professional career as a tenured instrumental music teacher, while pursuing a career as a rock musician in the 90s. Andy’s music was on radio and TV, including appearances on “Star Search”, as well as performing with his critically acclaimed NYC jazz group. These days, Andy’s musical highlights take place on Friday afternoons when he leads the Camp in the “Liberty Lake Song!”
