Spruce Lake Day Camp provides a growing experience for children ages 5-15 in a nurturing environment and natural, outdoor setting. Campers will have so much fun exploring nature, playing games, making crafts, taking off-site trips and swimming daily in the pool. They will develop new relationships, embark on exciting adventures and enjoy clean, wholesome fun. Our program is designed to help children develop good character and recognize their importance in the family, community and the world – all from the context of a biblical worldview.
Tuition includes two snacks a day, lunch and camp T-shirt.
Description
Throughout a typical week of Day Camp, children will enjoy many wholesome, fun activities on Spruce Lake’s own grounds. These generally include a swim in the pool every day, outdoor games, the bouldering wall, water slide, hiking, miniature golf, exploring the Nature Center, archery, arts and crafts.
Their week will also include either an off-site trip to area state parks, museums, and other unique places or a day of special on-site activities, such as a hoagie hike or outdoor cooking at our Adirondack shelters.

I understand that Spruce Lake Summer Camp is a ministry of Spruce Lake Retreat whose mission is “Pointing People toward Christ”. Campers will be exposed to Biblical teaching on a regular basis during the camp day. Team members will respect beliefs of individual campers and families.
I give permission for my child to fully participate in all program activities.
I agree to pay for all services rendered and understand that the card or account on file may be charged automatically for the full balance owed to Spruce Lake. Rules of conduct for campers, which will provide for a safe and life-enriching camper experience, will be clearly communicated to children and parents.
Spruce Lake reserves the right to dismiss any child who does not cooperate with the program’s code of conduct. Modest dress is required for boys & girls. See parent info for specific guidelines.
Campers are not permitted to carry cell phones or electronics during camp.
I understand that the deposit is non-refundable and that there are no daily rates or reductions if a camper does not attend all of the contracted days. No tuition will be returned for the weeks in which a camper is dismissed or withdrawn. Cancellations within two weeks of the registered week of camp are eligible for a refund of 50% of tuition. Cancellations/interruptions on or after the camp start date are not eligible for a refund. The bus fee will be forfeited if not cancelled by the Friday prior to the camp start date. Tuition must be paid prior to the week of camp your child is attending. Any outstanding balance will be charged to the account on file. There will be a $25 fee for all returned insufficient fund checks. In order for your child to participate, a health form must be completed and returned prior to attendance. Only authorized persons (listed on registration form) will be permitted to pick up a camper from camp. Any changes or additions must be communicated to the camp office.

History
The story of Spruce Lake is one of God’s Spirit moving across generations to form and sustain a place which has become a spiritual home for so many.
What started with just a few family retreats and only 2 weeks of summer camp that first summer has now expanded to serving over 30,000 guests and campers each year. Over the years, as facilities have changed and programs expanded, the mission of Spruce Lake has remained the same: Pointing People Toward Christ.
God’s amazing work through Spruce Lake continues to this day. In 2017, God choreographed the purchase of Spruce Mountain, a major milestone, with payment in full! And in Spring 2018, a new Youth Activity Center, Mountain View, has been dedicated so the Summer Camp area can become a year-round youth ministry hub at Spruce Lake.
