We offer Classes in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Ballet/Jazz, Hip Hop, Bollywood, and Semi-Classical Fusion. We offer Pre-Schoolers Classes, Children's classes, and Classes for Teens and Adults. Our teaching staff is highly qualified and professionally trained and hold college degrees in dance and accreditation certification.

We are located throughout New Jersey and have our headquarters studios in Morganville, in Monmouth County, and in Iselin, in Middlesex County. We have an audition-based Student Performing Company (NCPC) that participates in prestigious dance competitions, fundraisers, and notable cultural events. We provide stage exposure to our students at many cultural programs and are invited to perform at prestigious venues. Our Students perform at our annual recitals known as Naach 360. Nritya Creations has won numerous awards and trophies at Dance Competitions and has performed in many Bollywood Dance Concerts and venues such as the United Nations, NJPAC, NJ Symphony Hall, and NJ State Theater.

The creative dance style of Nritya Creations artistically blends various styles of Indian Classical dance such as Bharat Natyam, Odissi, Manipuri and Kathak with Western dance forms such as jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip-hop and other cultural dance forms to create a unique and wonderfully pleasing experience of sight and sound. This style of dance is innovative and contemporary yet has the inherent grammar dance. Graceful body movements, crisp formations, and poses are blended with vibrant steps and modern dance movements.

President and Founder

Meena Basu Nag is the founder and Artistic Director of Nritya Creations. She has been teaching classical dance, choreographing and directing dance productions for Nritya Creations since 1994. Meena has received her formal training in various styles of Indian Dance including Bharatanatyam and Manipuri/Tagore/Uday Shankar styles of Dance from several Gurus. She received her formal training in BharataNatyam from world renowned Bharatanatyam exponent and late Actress Padmini in the USA. Meena has choreographed and presented dance programs and dance dramas for numerous cultural events in USA and Canada including AT&T, Lucent and IBM Asian Heritage Programs, North American Bengali Conferences, Rabindranath Tagore Festivals, Indian and International Dance Cultural Programs, Dance Competitions and Charity Fundraisers. In addition to leading Nritya Creations, Meena pursues a career as a Business Development Director in the Telecommunications and IT sector and holds a BSEE and MSEE in Electrical Engineering.
