EduConnects is a Chinese language and culture enlightenment institition showcasing an online learning platform for students who are enthusiastic about learning Mandarin/Chinese. Our goal is to engage students in the Mandarin language through Science, Technology, Engineering Authentic Chinese Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) courses. Our philosophy, of sustained immersion in the Chinese language and culture offers high academic achievement, proficiency in two languages, and an in-depth cultural understanding and sensitivity.

The foundation of our philosophy is our dedication to teaching future generations the beauty of a new culture and a new language.   Additions of modern innovation through a project-based, design-thinking methodology aid in identifying solutions and allow the greater value of learning.

Meet Our Director

Amy is the founder and director of The Chinese Immersion After School Program, (EduCIASP) sponsored by EduConnects. Since 2009, she has successfully established, ​operated, and grown to more than ten schools at Montgomery County Public System, MD. In her career working at previous organizations, she has effectively operated Chinese Immersion After School Programs at schools including Wilson Wims ES, Cedar Grove ES,  Rachel Carson ES, College Garden ES, Stone Mill ES, Dufief ES, Burning Tree ES, Beverly Farm ES,  Bells Mill ES, and Little Bennet ES.   During the school year 2018-2019, Amy has opened two new school sites at Fallsmead ES and Matsunaga ES servicing their school needs under EduCIASP. 

The future for EduCIASP is bright as it continues to flourish as a highly sought-after school enrichment program in Chinese Learning. 

Our Staff

EduConnects is the "professional home” to an incredible team of our staff.  We work hard to ensure that our students learn from the most talented and highly qualified Chinese educators.  Most of our Chinese lead and headteachers have advanced degrees, and all of them are native speakers from China with three or more Chinese teaching experiences at private or public schools in the US. In addition, our teachers understand that actions, words, and feelings contribute greatly to our student's abilities to learn and grow.  A great teacher takes a student's hand, opens their mind, and touches their heart.
