The Eagle’s Landing program is broad and varied, encompassing all areas of camp life. Our Supervisors and Division Leaders are certified teachers. They offer a high level of expertise for the best possible instruction. Activities and routines are geared to the age, interests and needs of the campers. We offer a full-day program for ages 3 - 15 (entering 10th grade). In addition, for campers ages 3 - 5 (entering pre-k and kindergarten) we have a half-day option along with a 3, 4 or 5-day option. Campers in grades 5-8 participate in our trip program each week. We also offer a Leader in Training (LIT) program for campers entering 9th grade and a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for campers entering 10th grade.
A Typical Day
Activities vary daily and include two swim periods as well as sports, art, science, baking, cooking, free play and so much more. The swim instructors and lifeguards for our aquatics program are trained by the American Red Cross. They earn their Water Safety Instructor certification, which qulaifies them to evaluate each camper's progression and instruct accordingly.
Campers in grades 3 and 4 have 8 elective periods. Campers in 5th and 6th grade increase to 10 periods of electives each week. When campers are entering 7th grade, the majority of their schedule is elective based.
Our Trip Program is for campers in grades 5 - 8. These campers travel to an off-site destination every week for one full day.
