What is Camp Blue Diamond?

CBD will offer co-ed residential, adventure and family summer camps for children, youth and adults in 2021. Registration began in November. Visit the Camps tab to find information about summer camp and to register. CBD is home to the Centre County Camp Cadet and Penn State's Shaver's Creek Outdoor School.

CBD has a lodge, cabins, pavilions and a 46 site RV & tent campground available to family, church, school and not-for-profit groups for rental. Camp can accommodate up to 180 guests. Alcohol, vaping, tobacco, and motorized recreational vehicles are not permitted. Pets only in the RV campground. Firearms only allowed by hunters during hunting season.

Recently, Camp shot some drone footage of the CBD property and lake. Check out the extremely cool videos on the Drone Videos webpage, under the Facilities drop-down tab.

Changes caused by Corona Virus Pandemic:

The Camp Blue Diamond's RV Campground and rental Cabins are open. Camp can accommodate cabin, lodge and pavilion groups. Groups need to practice social distancing and wear masks when visiting with camp staff or other groups.   You may contact the camp office for details or to make a reservation.

Our Staff

Dean Wenger - Dean oversees business operations. He is a Visitor for the American Camp Association, and a member of the Stone Church of the Brethren in Huntingdon.
