Learn how to practice well is essential to the development and success of every music student. In his senior year of highschool, Lazar served as a principal cellist of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and the String Chamber Orchestra at the New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory School, where he studied with Nancy Hair and Lluis Claret. Lazar is studying for his undergraduate degree at the New England Conservatory of Music, where he studies with Professor Julie Albers.

Lazar started teaching at a very young age. He was fortunate to learn a great deal about the art of teaching. From his experience as a teacher, he realized that one of the most important aspects of being a good teacher is to be an inspiring one. The goal should not just be to make the student play, but to make the student want to play and want to improve.
